Helen E. Disenhaus

Helen Disenhaus has extensive experience in all areas of communications regulation, as well as in communications transactional matters. Her experience includes domestic and international media, Internet, satellite, submarine cable, wireless, telephony, and equipment manufacturing matters. The majority of Helen’s practice focuses on client counseling and strategic business planning. She is particularly experienced in international telecommunications and has frequently appeared before agencies involved in U.S. and international telecommunications regulation.

Helen’s transactional work includes communications services contracts for carriers and large users of telecommunications services, and equipment and vendor contracts for communications service providers. She is also experienced with corporate matters such as due diligence reviews and the preparation of securities filings and has frequently advised clients about the communications regulatory issues raised by proposed transactions.

Prior to joining Lampert, O'Connor & Johnston, Helen was a sole practitioner and a partner at Holland & Knight, LLP, and at Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman, LLP. Helen began her work as a communications attorney at the firm of Dow Lohnes & Albertson.
